i experimented a lot with business card mockups and i still haven’t found the exact one i want to go for. i think cards are really important so i want to really make it just right. since i don’t have a business yet i consider these more calling/contact cards. here are some variations of fronts and backs i’m currently experimenting with:

Chris Ardoin was born in Lafayette, Louisiana in December of 1988. Fueled by the local culture, music became his passion at a young age. He began playing drums at the age of eleven and within 6 years, Chris was teaching lessons and working as a freelance musician in the local music scene.

Chris began studying music and architecture at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2007. During his undergraduate studies, Chris worked for Scott’s Drum Center and worked as a freelance musician playing in different bands around the local area. He also began buying, selling, and restoring vintage drums on eBay and Craigslist through a business he opened called “Three On the Floor”.

Upon discovering his love for design, he focused his energy on Architecture and graduated with a bachelor degree in Architecture in 2011. He then moved to Providence Rhode Island and is currently attending Rhode Island School of Design for graduate Architecture studies. While continuing to feed his passion for drums, Chris plans to open his own design firm and begin working on commercial work here in the US.

I had a lot of iterations but I narrowed it down. I feel my favorite one is the first and then it goes down from there.

4 Assignment 3C    f

A few business card ideas. I was trying to go from super straight forward, to more abstract graphics. And yes I’m aware that one of them looks exactly like GQ. The blank one is a proposed hand written business card.
